Linux: cut and paste causes hang

Using 1.20beta4 source, cut and paste doesn't work, and dragging highlighted selection sometimes causes hang.

Produces the following message: Traceback (most recent call last):

After investigating myself, I realised that, in carrying out the instructions from ~~#80~~ I had commented out (in StringOps.py)

# def lineendToOs(text):
#        return convertLineEndings(text, "\r\n")

instead of changing it to:

def lineendToOs(text):
        return convertLineEndings(text, "\n")
